SSDI is a benefit for workers who can’t work because of a medical condition. There are four monthly payment dates set by Social Security, but people who are disabled can only get one of them. In fact, three of these checks have already been sent to U.S. bank accounts of people who are eligible.
The SSDI payment will come on November 27. But there are rules you have to follow in order to get this monthly payment from Social Security. In the first place, you shouldn’t be getting SSI. Also, you must be getting benefits, but not before May 1997. Third, the day you were born is important.
SSDI on November 27 and the birthday requirement
People who get disability insurance and got paid in November are not eligible for the check or direct deposit on the 27th. What if you haven’t? If your birthday is between the 21st and the 31st, you will get it on the 27th.
Remember that if your birthday is between January 1st and October 10th and you don’t get SSI or SSDI on December 3rd, 2024, your next payment will be due.
People whose birthday is between November 11 and December 20 will get their money on December 18, but they just got their check or deposit on November 20. Good news for people who get SSI or SSDI. Disability Insurance will start on December 3, 2024, and SSI will start on November 29, 2024.
Maximum and average payment amounts for SSDI on November 27
The most money that SSDI will pay out is $3,822. Still, this is possible if you meet the requirements. For the requirements, you must have worked in jobs covered by SSA for 35 years and earned the maximum amount of tax.
Then you must have filed when you were old enough, not before. If you did, your payment will be less. You also need to have worked for at least 35 years, which is not always possible if you are on Disability Insurance because of a disability.
People who get SSDI usually get about $1,542. Your Disability Insurance payment might not be enough for you. You can also apply for Supplemental Security Income benefits.
