A man was fatally stabbed on a Brooklyn street during a fight with his 20-year-old daughter, police said Wednesday.

Jose Acevedo, 41, was stabbed in the chest and back during the altercation outside his daughter’s home on De Sales Place near Broadway in Bushwick around 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday, according to police.

The victim, who had a lengthy criminal record, was visiting his daughter, Josephine Santiago, when the bloody brawl erupted.

Witnesses at the scene heard the two yelling at each other, police said. Santiago demanded that her father leave, but he flatly refused, witnesses told cops.

Acevedo was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, but he did not survive. Police said he lived in Harlem.

“The sirens woke me up,” said one neighbor who preferred not to be identified. “When I looked down there was blood.”

The neighbor then witnessed the victim being taken away on a stretcher.

A bloodied knife was found at the scene.

“I thought he was struck with a bottle or something, and maybe it was a gang thing,” the neighbor said, stunned to learn the man’s daughter was allegedly responsible for the killing.

“It’s extremely common in this area. But what about the family? Damn! This is very sad.”

Santiago was arrested and charged with murder and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Her arraignment in Brooklyn Criminal Court was set for Wednesday evening.
