A man was arrested in Darke County after deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine and other pills during a traffic stop.
According to a news release, at 2:59 a.m. on Friday, Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck that was unable to maintain lanes.
A Darke County Sheriff’s Office K-9 conducted a free air sniff on the truck, yielding a positive alert.
Deputies discovered “substantial amounts of suspected methamphetamine and various other pills” in the vehicle, according to the release.
Steven Black, 55, of New Lebanon, Ohio, was arrested for methamphetamine possession, a second-degree felony, and obstructing official business, a second-degree misdemeanor.
Black is currently held in the Darke County Jail.
