The California Highway Patrol wants people to help them look into a crash that killed one person that happened in Hayward on Saturday night on Mission Boulevard north of East Lewelling Boulevard.
Officer Kylie Musselman says the crash happened at 9:44 p.m. and involved a 30-year-old woman and a Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by a 17-year-old boy. Musselman said the woman died after the accident.
Musselman said, “Speed seems to play a part.” The officer said, “The woman seems to have been walking in a crosswalk with fully functioning intersection lights.”
