A Northern Kentucky woman is facing charges in Hamilton County after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from another woman.
According to court documents, Heather Dempsey allegedly forged 15 checks to the victim’s accounts. She allegedly cashed $9,285 in those checks.
According to police, Dempsey withdrew more than $9,000 from the victim’s bank account using an ATM.
Dempsey was indicted this week on two counts of theft from an elderly or disabled adult, as well as one count of forgery and theft.
