In order to receive one of the new disability checks from the United States, we must meet certain requirements. Similarly, the VA Benefit payment may arrive in the coming days for beneficiaries of this benefit.
Remember that the Social Security check is always divided into four separate payment days, whereas the VA Disability benefit check is always sent on the same date.
Even so, there are some irregularities with VA Disability payments in February 2025. The payment is typically sent on the first of the following month, but this will be impossible in March. As a result, we will need to consider all aspects of the payment, including the SSDI checks, which will be sent soon.
February SSDI and VA Disability payments
On the one hand, SSDI payments will end this week in February. Only retirees in group 5 will be eligible to receive checks in the last week of this month in 2025. Similarly, VA Disability payments will be delivered on the same day to all Americans.

In this way, being a member of Group 4 of retirees is required in order to receive the final check of the month of February. When waiting for any of these two benefits, we must consider the following requirements:
- Last SSDI payment of February: 26th day. It is compulsory to have received payment since after May 1997, as well as to have your birthday between the 21st and 31st of any given month.
- Next VA Disability payment: February 28th. It should have been on March 1st, 2025, but that day will be a weekend. That is why we may find that the payment arrives on the immediately preceding working day.
The amount of each payment varies depending on your history and conditions, but the day you receive your monthly benefit remains constant.
As a result, if you fall into either of these two categories, it is recommended that you activate Direct Deposit so that you do not have to wait until next week to take advantage of the February benefit.
