Driver suspected of leading police on a chase at speeds up to 120 mph in Greater Cincinnati

A Cincinnati man was arrested following a multi-county police chase that resulted in a crash.

On December 30, a Franklin police officer patrolling the Pilot Travel Center on Franklin Lebanon Road discovered a car with a fictitious registration tag, according to WHIO.

The officer followed the car onto Interstate 75 North.

When he attempted to pull the driver over, police told WHIO that he took off at speeds of up to 120 mph.

The driver exited the interstate at Austin Boulevard, but collided with a pole at the SR-741 intersection.

He then fled, but was later apprehended on North Springboro Pike.

The driver was identified as Stephen Reynolds, Jr. He faces charges of failure to comply, obstructing official business, fleeing, reckless driving, and exceeding speed limits of 30 mph. He was also serving parole at the time.

He’s currently in the Warren County Jail.
