According to investigators, the altercation began on Grampian Boulevard around 10 a.m., when a son allegedly stabbed his father during a heated argument.
In response, the father discharged a firearm. According to police, the bullet passed through the son’s girlfriend before hitting him.
Despite the dramatic nature of the incident, authorities recorded no fatalities. All three individuals sustained non-fatal injuries, and authorities expect them to recover.
“This was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public,” the PSP said in a statement.
Charges are pending as police continue their investigation, and prosecutors will make the final decision.
As the investigation moves forward, the PSP promised to release more details about the case.
