Friends remember Deer Park father shot and killed "in the blink of an eye"

Friends are remembering a Deer Park father who was shot to murdered on the East End.

Dustin Colvin, 32, lost his life in a shooting one week ago on Saturday.

According to Cincinnati police, the incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at a park on Callahan Street.

Friends claimed Colvin was there to film. Colvin was a talented local videographer.

“Knowing that someone could be so happy and healthy the day before was just unimaginable,” said a friend, Johnny Tatum. Things can change in an instant.

Tatum described Colvin as a caring father and friend.

“I don’t think that you could be around him and not smile on your face,” Tatum was saying.

Now, loved ones are coming together to support Colvin’s young daughter.
