Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Zachary Zoz to the Fairfield Municipal Court. Zoz will officially take office on March 31, 2025, to fill the vacancy left by Judge Joyce Campbell’s retirement.
He will serve the remainder of the unexpired term and must run for reelection in November 2025 to keep his position.
Zoz brings nearly 20 years of legal experience to the role. He began his career in 2006 as the owner of Zoz Law Office, LLC in Hamilton, Ohio, where he still practices.
He began working as the clerk of the Mason Municipal Court in 2015 before becoming chief magistrate in 2021.
He later served as a judge for the Fairfield Municipal Court in 2023 and is currently a magistrate.
Zoz graduated from Thomas More College with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2001 and received his juris doctorate from Ohio Northern University Petit College of Law in 2004.
Beyond his legal career, Zoz is actively involved in the community as a member of the Fairfield Rotary Club and the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
