HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A 19-year-old man was rushed to the hospital on Sunday after being stabbed multiple times by his 13-year-old neighbor, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

This occurred at an apartment complex on Aldine Mail Route Road near I-69, within Beltway 8.

Gonzalez claimed the girl stabbed the man over a neighbor dispute. He was transported to a nearby hospital in serious but fair condition.

The girl was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Probation Center.

Estela Martinez, 43, the girl’s mother, was charged with tampering with evidence and booked into the Harris County Jail.

According to HCSO Lt. Coronando, things escalated after an upstairs and downstairs neighbor complained. It is unclear who lives upstairs and downstairs.
