SANTA CLARA COUNTY – Caltrans says that State Route 9 (SR-9) Big Basin Way will be closed all the way between Sanborn Road and Redwood Gulch Road in Saratoga.

The road will be closed from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, so that fallen trees can be safely removed, trash can be cleared, drainage systems can be serviced, and slopes can be regraded.

From 7 AM to 5 PM on the weekends, traffic will only go one way. It is very important that this work is done so that both travelers and repair crews are safe.

This building project should be finished by the week of November 5, 2024. People who drive should expect delays and plan for alternatives when they travel. Changeable Message Signs (CMS) and details about detours will be put up to help drivers find their way.
