Joe Rogan has officially changed his mind about former US President Barack Obama this week.
Rogan, the host of the most popular podcast in the world, has officially endorsed Donald Trump for president in 2024.
Rogan expressed his support for Trump ahead of Election Day earlier this month. Prior to the election, the longtime UFC analyst and podcast host invited Trump confidant Elon Musk to join him on his show.
“The great and powerful @elonmusk.” If not for him, we’d be (expletive). He makes what I believe is the most compelling case for Trump you will hear, and I agree with him throughout. For the record, that is an endorsement for Trump. Rogan wrote, “Enjoy the podcast.”
Over the years, Rogan has been open about his political beliefs. He has mostly expressed praise and criticism for both sides. But right now, he’s definitely leaning right.
Rogan has also officially changed his opinion of former US President Barack Obama.
The podcast host stated that Obama’s comments about Kamala Harris changed his mind. Obama, the 44th president of the United States, endorsed Harris during her campaign against Donald Trump.
This did not sit well with Rogan, however.
“Obama’s performance during the Kamala Harris campaign significantly changed my opinion of him. I used to think he was very intelligent. I assumed he was just caught up in the system.
Watching him lie about Trump, with the’very fine people,’ thing, and the white supremacist thing, which I believe worked in 2017, but people no longer believe it, changed my opinion of him. “People have become numb to this,” Rogan stated.
It’s understandable that Rogan would have second thoughts about Obama, but keep in mind that the majority of people will likely just follow party lines.
Obama’s decision to back Harris and the Democrats was predictable. However, it should not be inferred that Obama had any particular fondness for Harris during her campaign.
