MILFORD, OH – A new restaurant has opened downtown.
According to this post on the local chamber of commerce’s social media account, Flamingo Drive had its grand opening last month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The new restaurant in Milford is located at 227 Main St.
The menu features ahi tuna (with avocado, salsa criolla, and radish), chicken liver mousse (with cream cheese, guava, and schmaltz toast), broccoli cheese croquettes, empanada del Dia (with salt cod, potato, red chili, and charred tomato sauce), yucca fries, and fried maduros.
The menu also includes the maduro salad (with greens, heart of palm, pickled red onion, sweet potato sticks, ricotta salata, and citrus basil vinaigrette), fritta burger (with a house chorizo patty, sweet onion, queso panela, guava mayo, and fried sweet potato), Cuban sandwich (with pork mojo, salami, brown butter, Jarlsberg spread, and spicy pickles), fried jerk chicken, and rice & beans (with red shrimp chorizo, black beans, crispy

Worth the wait! This place has flavor and vibe. The owners are very experienced in the business – and already had the amazing Governor diner going next door.
We’ve been to Flamingo drive there twice. Both times the food was outstanding and the prices are reasonable! The vibe is perfect… Cuban Latin inspired decor and dishes, and live music completed the experience. This is my new favorite place and I will be coming back. Milford is thriving !!

First day open and it has absolutely flawless service. Beautifully executed meals. We had the Ahi Tuna, broccoli cheese croquettes, yucca fries, and rice and beans. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is hip and cool. The bar, the restaurant, the lounge area and the bathrooms are truly beautiful. There is a private Lounge area in the rear of the building, it will be wonderful for warmer days.
