Minnesota's Top 10 Most Expensive Small Towns

When you think about the most expensive places to live, you probably think of big cities first. Minneapolis, New York City, Miami, and other similar cities.

However, some of the most expensive places to live in Minnesota, specifically, are small towns. I suppose that’s because few people can afford to live there.

This information comes from Stacker, which ranked Minnesota towns based on average home values to determine which are the most expensive places to live.

I then conducted additional research to determine the population size of each of these towns. All of the towns on my final list have populations under 10,000.

Many of these towns I had never heard of before, but after seeing the general area in which they are located, it all makes sense. For example, some of these towns are located near Lake Minnetonka, which is known for its insanely expensive mansions.

Let’s get to it!
