OHIO — Police are investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred in a Piqua neighborhood on Friday evening.
According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. at a home on McKinley Avenue, south of U.S. 36.
Officers responding to the scene shot and killed a 44-year-old man inside the house.
The officer who fired the shots was not injured, according to a press release.
As the investigation continues, no further details about what caused the shooting have been released.
