Astoria, OR – The Oregon Coast will have pleasant, mild weather throughout the weekend, but rain showers are expected to begin on Sunday, April 6th and last until Thursday, April 10th.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures along the coast will remain relatively warm for the first half of the weekend.
Friday’s highs in Astoria and Newport will be in the mid-60s, with partly sunny skies. Saturday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the low 60s.
However, beginning Sunday, April 6th, rain is expected across the region, with temperatures dropping to the low 50s and highs in the mid-50s.
Tillamook and Lincoln City will experience similar rain showers on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures remaining mild. Rain is expected to become more persistent mid-week, continuing through Thursday, April 10th.
Travelers along the Oregon Coast should prepare for wet conditions, particularly if the roads are slippery. Local authorities advise checking for road closures or warnings due to the expected rain.
