You might be able to get SSI and SNAP benefits if your Social Security payment is low and you don’t have any other jobs or ways to make money.

In the United States, this means that some needy families and people may be able to get these monthly checks.

That means you could get three payments on November 1 if you are still qualified for these three programs. Some people who get SNAP don’t get their money on the first of the month.

The retirement check had to be moved from October 29 to November 3. Since the third is a Sunday, it will be sent out on the first instead. SSI is usually given out on January 1.

Maximum amounts for SNAP, Social Security and SSI

SNAP users will be able to get no more than $292 a person on November 1. Once the 2025 COLA goes up, this is the new highest amount that can be earned.

The most a family of four can get from SNAP is $975. They could get up to $1,158 if they are a family of five. Your Food Stamp check can be up to $1,756 if you have eight people in your home.

SSI & SSA recipients’ maximum amounts:

  • 1,415 dollars for eligible married couples
  • 472 dollars for essential persons
  • Social Security can send checks of up to $4,873 for high earners, so you will not receive this amount if you collect SNAP or SSI. Average payments can be about $1,920. Expect a lower payment if you are on SSI and SNAP.
