According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the 32 children listed below were reported missing in Missouri between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
These missing children are teenagers, but they are still children. You do not want to assume that all missing teenage children are runaways. According to Missouri law, any runaway is considered a missing child. (§ 43.400, RSMo 2023.)
You can keep an eye on the NCMEC website to see when child-related posters are removed. When this happens, their cases may have been resolved or their posters removed. Some children may not have posters yet because they have not been distributed.
The NCMEC website provides the following updated lists for 2024. When you click on the names with links, you can view their respective photos on the NCMEC website.
The good news is that some of the previously reported missing children no longer have a missing child poster on the NCMEC website. I’ve noticed that with each new month, while some cases were resolved the previous month, more children are added.
