HAMILTON, Ohio – A popular restaurant chain is opening a new location in the area.
Are you a fan of Chipotle Mexican Grill? If you answered yes, you should know that Chipotle has opened a new restaurant in Hamilton at 5255 Hilden brand Way, according to the company’s website. The new Hamilton location opened at the end of December.
The restaurant chain is known for its customizable burritos. Burrito orders begin with the protein of your choice. Chicken, steak, beef barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas (made with tofu), guacamole-topped vegetables, and, for a limited time, smoked brisket.
Then you can choose between white and brown rice. Then you have the option of including black and/or pinto beans.
Then, you can add any of the following toppings: fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili-corn salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, tomatillo-red chili salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies, cheese, or romaine lettuce. Guacamole and queso blanco are available for an additional charge.
The menu also includes customizable burrito bowls, quesadillas, salads, and tacos.

I was super excited to have a new Chipotle show up way closer to home. We usually drive out of our way to the Beckett location. Bridgewater use to be our closest. The portion was ridiculously small for both my burrito and my fiancé bowl. I mean like probably not even enough to fill a child up. I even tipped which I typically wouldn’t do. Go ahead and close if this is how you’re gonna run a business. I’m highly disappointed and will not return. I’ll spend my $26 someone where else and get a filling meal.

The first day of Chipotle’s opening felt a bit unprepared. There were manuals scattered on a table, every surface seemed to have leftover food or clutter, and it was clear the place hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The service was fine, but the employees seemed pretty overwhelmed. On the bright side, the food was solid. Portion sizes were generous, and it was actually one of the best Chipotle bowls I’ve had—though they were out of carnitas when I went, which was a letdown. If the food alone were the focus, I’d give it 5 stars.
