Public service is Denise Driehaus’s favorite part of her job as a Hamilton County Commissioner.
People might not know this about her job, but she and her coworkers like to talk to people before making decisions.
Driehaus would say that starting the Hamilton County Commission on Women and Girls, which gives advice on policies that affect women’s health and safety, was the most important thing she did while she was in office.
Some words she would use to describe her county are “open to everyone, successful, and forward-looking.”
If someone from out of town came to visit, she would take them to Findlay Market. She likes to watch Netflix and PBS in her free time.
