Wisconsin Weather Update: Rain Expected Tonight, Peak Chances 7 PM – 3 AM

Milwaukee, WI – Southern Wisconsin will see an increase in rainfall beginning tonight, with the highest amounts expected between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m.

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee said that while thunderstorms are unlikely, there may be some minor ponding on roads.

Rain is expected to fall most heavily in the south and east, with Kenosha and Milwaukee seeing 60% to 75% chances by midnight.

As the rain falls in the evening, local roadways may experience brief pooling of water, particularly in low-lying areas.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions are expected to clear early Saturday morning, with blustery northwest winds taking over.

By Sunday, the weather will be brighter, though snow showers may return by late evening.

Local residents are advised to drive cautiously overnight, particularly in areas prone to water accumulation.

There are no major weather impacts expected, but slick road conditions may pose a risk to travelers.
