Woman arrested in a hit-and-run injury collision with a pedestrian

Following a collision that occurred early on Saturday morning in the downtown area of Anchorage involving a man and a car, a woman was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs as well as fleeing the scene of the accident.

After responding to a hit-and-run accident that occurred at 2:41 on Saturday morning at West 4th Avenue and H Street, the police stated that they discovered a 32-year-old man unconscious on the street.

The accident was reported to have resulted in injuries.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, the man was first transported to the hospital with injuries that were considered to be life-threatening; however, it was later found that the injuries were not life-threatening.

After being struck by a silver automobile traveling northbound on H street, the 32-year-old man who was standing in the road between 3rd and 4th Avenue ran away from the scene, according to the Atlanta Police Department, which was discussing the findings of an initial investigation.

Over the course of more than six hours, H Street was shut down because the Major Collision Investigation Unit was present at the scene.
