Crystal Beach — The Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in Crystal Beach and found methamphetamine, cocaine, and several guns, one of which was a “ghost gun.” Five people were arrested and these items were seized.
The search warrant was carried out by the Galveston County Organized Crime Task Force in the 1900 block of Avenue E in Crystal Beach on October 24.
Detectives say that before they carried out the search warrant, they saw Garrett Griffin and Hilary Norris leave the house.
This led to a traffic stop where Norris was found with some methamphetamine.
Police carried out the search warrant and found Michael Gutierrez, Glen Luckey, and Cecelia Heinrich in the house.
Eight guns, 102 grams of methamphetamine, and 1.06 grams of cocaine were found during the search.
One of the guns was stolen, one had its serial number changed, and one was a “Ghost Gun” that didn’t have a serial number on it.
The following charges were sent to the Galveston County District Attorney’s Office, which agreed to hear them:
Garret Griffin- Manufacturing & Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <>>= 4G<<>200G with a $500,000 bond.
Glen Luckey- Manufacturing & Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <>>= 4G= 1G<<>4G with a total bond of $500,000
Cecelia Heinrich- Manufacturing & Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <>>= 4G= 1G<<>4G with a total bond of $230,000
Hilary Norris- Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <<>1G with a $60,000 bond.
Michael Gutierrez- Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 <<>1G with a $10,000 bond.
