A Fairfield Township man accused of murdering his father's fiancée will be evaluated for competency.

A Fairfield Township man suspected of murdering his father’s fiancée will have his competency assessed again before his case is heard in court.

Robbi Robinson, 24, was charged with aggravated murder, two charges of aggravated arson, and two counts of felonious assault for the incident that occurred in May.

Robinson is suspected of burning his father’s girlfriend, Brenda Scott, 50, on fire in Fairfield Township. She jumped out a window and died a few weeks later.

Robinson refused a plea agreement last week and was expected to appear in court again on Wednesday.

Instead, Robinson’s defence filed a request to have his competency assessed. He has been deemed competent to stand trial twice since being charged.
