A Cincinnati man who is a suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred on November 29 in the Mount Adams area of the city was apprehended by Logan County law enforcement in Lakeview on Saturday evening, December 7.
Michael Bowlin, 31, was wanted by Cincinnati police in connection with a stabbing that critically injured a construction worker, according to multiple news sources.
The injured worker, who had been stabbed several times in the 300 block of Baum Street, was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Bowlin was arrested in Madison County, Kentucky, the day after the stabbing on an unrelated criminal trespassing charge.
Police were unaware of Bowlin’s suspected involvement in the stabbing, and he was released from jail on December 3.
Logan County officers pursued Bowlin’s vehicle, which was reportedly carrying others, and eventually ended up near Main and Harrison streets in Lakeview.
The suspect was apprehended around 6 p.m. and transported to the Logan County Jail.
There have been no reports of injuries related to Bowlin’s arrest in Logan County.

A wanted Cincinnati man is in custody Saturday evening following a chaotic few hours for several law enforcement agencies that assisted in apprehending him in Lakeview.
Authorities received a “ping” on the suspect’s cellphone in the Indian Lake area Saturday afternoon, according to preliminary reports.
According to emergency scanner traffic, the suspect, who authorities believed was armed and dangerous, was driving a Honda Accord with a tinted license plate along with several others.
Law enforcement pursued the suspect vehicle for a while.
Around 4:30 p.m., a large contingent of law enforcement arrived at the intersection of Main and Harrison streets in Lakeview, where the vehicle had come to a stop.
Other passengers in the vehicle with the suspect were detained for a time while authorities worked to determine his identity.
Indian Joint firefighters reportedly assisted law enforcement in removing an individual from the roof of a home near where the Honda was stopped. It’s unclear whether the individual was the suspect or someone else.
There have been no reported injuries in the developing situation.
Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Township and Russell’s Point Police, special response teams, an air unit, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, and others all helped apprehend the man.
The suspect was apprehended around 6 p.m. and transported to the Logan County Jail.
